One of those business cards that is &#8220;<em>elegant in its simplicity<\/em>&#8220;.\u00a0 Name.\u00a0 Phone number. \u00a0Email.<\/p>\n<p>But what does the person DO?<\/p>\n<p>When you come across this card several months from now, you likely won&#8217;t remember. It will end up in the trash.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, you could jot a note on it.<\/p>\n<p>Is a prospective client going to think &#8211; or bother &#8211;\u00a0to take that extra step?<\/p>\n<p><em>This is turning into a pet peeve of mine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Come on. Enough with the elegance. Design a card that tells a story. Design a card that can be passed along. Design a card that reminds people of their need for your services.<\/p>\n<p>You need a card that can do its job.<\/p>\n<p>Use our <a href=\"\/ppmr-members\/wp-content\/documents\/bizcard_checklist.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Business Card Checklist<\/a> and evaluate your own business card.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and by the way&#8230;tell your Mom what you do.
